Research in the ICCM is interdisciplinary and focused on developing novel approaches to extrapolate drug, chemical and/or nanomaterial behavior from in vitro to in vivo systems and across species, with particular emphasis on domestic animals. Collaboration would also be possible with the co-located USDA supported Food Animal Residue Avoidance and Depletion (FARAD) program as well as the co-located Nanotechnology Innovation Center of Kansas State (NICKS). The incumbents to this hire would be expected to develop individual and collaborative extramurally funded research programs, develop appropriate graduate training experiences in their respected research fields, and contribute to new graduate courses in his/her area of expertise. For all positions, the incumbents should possess a PhD and/or DVM / MD in a relevant science discipline, and have post-doctoral or equivalent research experience and publications in a supportive discipline. Tenure home consideration will be given in the following departments: Anatomy and Physiology, Diagnostic Medicine and Pathobiology, Statistics, Mathematics, and Electrical and Computer Engineering.
