The Nordic Society for Veterinary Epidemiology (NOSOVE) is an informal organization with the vision of advancing veterinary epidemiology. The volunteering board aim to fulfill the vision by providing courses and opportunities to socialise and strengthen the network among post graduate students, researchers and others with an interest in epidemiology. Events are presented through the society network (blogspot).
NOSOVE started in 1988 as a collaboration between the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and has expanded to include the Baltic countries, but welcome members and participants from all countries.

One Health Summer School in Copenhagen 2014 - registration before April 9.

Dear Colleagues,
University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark are hosting a ‘One Health Summer School' with emphasis on approaches to control zoonoses and food safety.
It is a 5-ECTS course that will be held in Copenhagen, August 11-22, 2014 preceded by a 9-week e-learning part that will be accessed through a closed Coursera.org-site from April 28, 2014.
Master and PhD students are welcome, but other post-graduates who are interested are also welcome.
The only requirement is that you have a B.Sc. degree. Other backgrounds than veterinarian, medical and public health are also welcome.
